Move well before you move often.

Why do we do this?

We believe in the incredible ability of the human body – and that each and every one of us has the potential to feel insanely magnificent.

Of course we prefer to see you when you’re not injured so we can address the handbrakes or the software glitches that you are likely to have developed (what we call compensation strategies) that will be setting you up for dysfunction, sub-optimal performance and future injuries. Yes – you’re right, some things we can’t avoid such as contact injuries, accidents that weren’t your doing or just plain ole’ silly things we do that cause an injury. Let us ask you this: can you afford to be stopped in your tracks with an injury that you could prevent?

So how do we do this?

Our team of physiotherapists are additionally trained in the worlds current leading systems such as Functional movement systems by Gray Cook and Lee Burton (FMS, SFMA and YBT), Neurokinetic therapy by David Weinstock and McKenzie MDT (the internationally acclaimed method of assessment and treatment for spinal and extremity pain developed by our own New Zealand Physiotherapist Robin McKenzie). These are the systems that allow us to identify the source of the problem – not just band aid it.

The ‘Evolve Experience’ involves a multi-disciplinary research-and-evidence-based team approach to help our clients.  This is the same approach used with elite athletes at all levels and is the best way to achieve success and maximize results. There’s a better way to do it – and we’ve found it.

Our services include:

  • Physiotherapy
  • Acupuncture
  • Amino Bio Frequency Therapy
  • Womens’ health
  • Exercise rehabilitatio
  • Movement and performance screens
  • Pilates
  • Yoga
  • Enhanced personal training

If appropriate, we will refer you for imaging and specialist review, liaising with only the top orthopaedic surgeons, sports physicians and pain specialists in Auckland.

Current leaders around the globe share a common mindset – that is that the future of healthcare is not needing it.

The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will instruct his patient in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease” – Thomas Edison

Although Physiotherapists are known to be the experts in assessing, diagnosing, and managing injuries – you DO NOT need to be injured to benefit from Evolve style of physiotherapy. Welcome to real health ‘care’.

Who are we? Meet the Team

Our team is highly experienced in treating a variety of injuries and conditions.  We are post graduate trained including McKenzie MDT certified, Mulligans technique, functional movement systems (FMS, SFMA and YBT) certified and are experts in the field of exercise prescription, reducing injury risk and performance.

The Evolve clinic prioritises patient education, using movement analysis and testing to back our findings and facilitate understanding of what’s really going on with your body. Why? Because heightened self-awareness means lasting results.

Pure and simple.
